Norders Story

Hey, let me tell you a little story about how Norders came to be. It all started back in 2017 when our co-founder and CEO, Joonas Kylliäinen, was working in the trenches of the B2B sales and marketing world at an SMB IT company in Helsinki.

How it all began

Joonas quickly realized that the booming startup scene, especially those scrappy B2B startups with big dreams, didn’t have the right sales and marketing partner to match their ambition and pace. These startups needed something more than just another agency—they needed a partner who could keep up with their fast, agile, and often rebellious approach to growth.

So, Joonas did what any driven entrepreneur would do—he started his own agency. The first version of Norders was born, a lean, mean marketing machine that focused on delivering fast, results-oriented services for early-stage startups. It wasn’t long before this little agency began to gain traction. The team grew, and so did the realization that they were on to something special. But they didn’t stop there.

When the pandemic hit, it was a pivotal moment. Instead of slowing down, Norders doubled down. The team, a ragtag group of misfits, rebels, and pirates, decided it was time to level up. They weren’t content with just serving a small group of early-stage startups in Helsinki; they wanted to take their expertise global. Norders 2.0 was born in 2022, this time with a clear mission: to empower B2B startups around the world, from early-stage to Series A, with the most effective, strategic, and results-driven sales and marketing solutions.

As the team expanded, they quickly realized something crucial—B2B startups needed more than just sales or marketing. They needed a unified approach that could seamlessly integrate both, creating a powerful flywheel effect. This led to the creation of the Norders Demand System, a revolutionary framework designed to combine brand-building with revenue-generating activities. The goal was simple: help startups earn attention, convert leads, and dominate their markets.

At Norders, we’ve always believed that in the modern world, where attention is the new currency, you need a strong brand to drive revenue, but you also need revenue to build that brand. It’s a delicate balance, and we’ve spent years perfecting our approach. We’re not your average marketing agency, nor are we just another lead generation outfit.
